Weekends in the Wilderness (Au Pair Experience Días 15, 16 and 17, Part One)

So yes I've been a little quiet this weekend but this is good news because I have developed something called *a life*. This weekend has actually been full of interesting things instead of lie ins (though I made up for that by sleeping from 3pm to 8pm yesterday hahaha) and I'm exhausted but it was amazing.

I'll start with Friday:

These are pictures from the banks of the River Segre, near where I live. I don't know why but I love graffiti art. It makes me look like such a tourist taking pictures of it all the time but there's something about it I really admire. Not the stupid stuff like 'Bob waz ere' which there's actually a lot of, everywhere, but the creative stuff that makes you wonder why someone drew that. How long did it take them? Why?!

This time I had a friend on the walk. Apparently we were meant to be speed walking but that must've been lost in translation because I turned up in jeans and cute boots and she was in jogging gear. She wasn't impressed with my 'slow walking' (I'm a Londoner I don't was slowly at all so I'm sure she was exaggerating) or picture taking but I gave up my siesta for that so speed walking wasn't on the agenda. It was fun though, we spoke in Spanish and English and wow I'd missed having full English conversations with no dodgy connections. She's gonna remain a mystery friend because her position in this town is so prestigious and I might ruin her rep seeing as I'm so... Me-like

More to come xx
